Turtle Trot, Feburary 2013

Happy Wednesday, and happy Turtle Trot everyone.  Lets have a look at what I've managed to get done over the past week or so.

We'll start off with Santa's Village, which I love working on.  I ordered the Post Office the other day form 123 Stitch and received it in the mail already.  I still have a lot to get done before starting on the next one.  Isn't that how it always is, ready for the next stitch before you're done with the current one and the current one isn't stitching up fast enough.  Buy the pattern, buy the dream.

The valentines day heart is coming right along.  I've finished off one side, except for the beads and backstitching, and just have a wee bit more to go on this side to finish up the main stitch.  And then it'll be time for that backstitching and beading.  I wonder what I've got in my bead stash and if I've got any beads that will work.

I finished up the second angel on the Heirloom Nativity and a good portion done on the third angel.  After I finish her, it's more snowflakes a bit of a gold star and that will be that for this band. Here's the whole thing so far for a bit of a refresher for you.

Happy Trotting!
Hugs and Stitches,
Kay
